Taking the floor from the rostrum at the eighteenth annual meeting of the Valdai International Discussion Club, the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, displayed an incredible and astounding cerebral flex parallel to Ronnie Coleman’s on the Olympia stage in his prime. Intellectually speaking, subject field for subject field (in the same line as, ‘pound for pound’), Putin stood firm and unbeatable in comparison to all his contemporary counterparts. Former KGB officer—true! An autocrat—a matter of perspective; a debatable possibility! A remarkable intellectual and seasoned philosopher in numerous fields relating to the human condition and the continuity of the human race on planet earth… that… Oh, that is a self-evident fact!
Addressing the forum’s agenda, President Putin was thorough, yet succinct. As a matter of fact, he attended every concern that any conscious—and conscientious—adult anywhere around the globe might have in 2021. He spoke with equal passion and zeal as a world leader and concerned fellow human being as he did in his capacity as the President of Russia.
The man [Putin] showed a genuine appreciation for universal philosophy and respect for civilizational diversity by making reference to—all the while commending—ancient Chinese wisdom vis-á-vis understanding the concept of crisis, and Martin Luther King’s social reformation aspirations with respect to the ‘true notion’ [emphasis added] of abolishing racial discrimination.
Simultaneously, a trace of Kantian philosophy could easily be detected in the manner in which he constructed his refutation and concerns regarding the current social revolutionary wave of gender identification. Sharing Russia’s painful and horrid past experience with revolutionary social restructuring measures [emphasis added], those that torn the country’s social fabric and eroded the principles of familial moral values and duty, Vladimir Putin did not capitalize on the multitude of proofs; but masterly knitted them together in a coherent and cogent fashion as the authority of reason would order the sequence thereof; to reach a zenith conclusion: that, what is naturally ordained unto the human state of being, i.e. inherent, should not be defiled and subsided by a quixotic politically-stimulated hyperreality. More importantly still, it should not be allowed—by the authority of human conscience—that such detachment from natural reality be taught to toddlers. On that matter in particular, I cheerfully join my voice to his!
As for international politics and relations (namely, U.S.-Russian relations), the pandemic, and energy security, as well as strategic security and global change, he emphatically reaffirmed his unfaltering willingness to cooperate with international partners to face all sorts of challenges on hand for the collective greater good. Reflecting on such topics, it was plain to the meanest intelligence that President Putin is not the kind of president who’s merely briefed prior to such appearances. Far from it! He’s well-informed and personally engaged on those matters. Simply put, he’s not a mouthpiece for aides reports—which, all too often, happens to be the case with other heads of state.
In this appearance, it was vividly perceived by all those who participated and watched remotely alike, that this was not just Vladimir Putin the President of Russia. That man who took the stage was Putin, a concerned global citizen; Putin, the moral philosopher; Putin, the sociologist; and, above all else, Putin, the incarnation of true Russian values—who would never condone immorality for the sake of gaining political capital.
In short, it was Putin the res cogitan [the thinking apparatus]—with a good sense of humor.
